Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood (Part 1, Nina Tucker)

So, I've finally finished the epic journey that was FMA: Brotherhood. For those of you that haven't heard of it this is a second imagining of an anime series based on the manga (roughly in the case of the first series) Full Metal Alchemist. The story is mainly about two brothers, Edward and Alfonse Elric, they are alchemists at a young age and attempt a forbidden transmutation which loses Ed his leg and Al his entire body, Ed then sacrifices his arm to bind his younger brothers soul to a suit of armor nearby. They then eventually vow to get their bodies back and this is there story, to begin with. Lots of other characters come along and they all have their own back stories and motives which really helps keep the show fast paced and interesting. I wanted to share with you some of my favorite moments (even the sad ones), quotes and characters from this show so i warn you there will be spoilers ahead. If you haven't already seen the series i suggest you go watch it. Right now.

I would also like to point out i watched the dubbed version. I'm not one of the anime fans who has to have everything subbed, i tend to prefer dubbed as i find it easier to concentrate on what's happening. Also my other half has trouble reading the subs >.<

The first event i wanted to mention was the story of the little girl Nina Tucker who we meet very early one. Her father Shou Tucker, desperate not to lose his funding alchemically fused her with her pet dog Alexander.

The brothers become friends with her then return to find she has become a chimera, Ed and Al realize this but also understand they cannot help her, they report the incident to Colonel Mustang who labels the house as a crime scene, but before transport arrangements can be made, a serial killer by the name of Scar appears and kills them both, believing his killing of Nina/Alexander to be a mercy killing and prays for her soul. This is the first time (and certainly not the last) i cried my eyes out at and became emotionally attached to the series.
